this weekend saw the opening of my show

at the lion street gallery in hay on wye

brent blair, the owner did a great job of hanging the paintings


even the late arrivals


it really is a lovely gallery

i had a perfect time

especially coming home over hay bluff...magical, mysterious and as wonderful as ever

corte-real gallery

my first days in portugal were spent visiting Michael, Pedro and Simon at the beautiful Corte-Real gallery

where amazing things hang from the trees


sometimes the art work hangs outside


the garden is full of things to delight


and even the flowers look happy



inside is amazing but sorry no photos
some of my work is available from the gallery now...
and more portuguese work will be on show at the end of this month

summer journey....

i am so pleased to be going back to portugal in june...to stay as artist in residence at one of my favourite places in the world obras
and then very exciting news...in july i'm showing my work at the beautiful corte-real gallery in paderne

so looking forward to it...
today the sun shone and spring was in the air i love spring here in the forest
followed by summer sunshine in portugal...just perfect
