pink hedges

once again i have a gallery selling my work in the border town of hay on wye

famous for books

and the river wye



i was up there delivering paintings this week and decided to stay a couple of nights... this was the view from our campsite




the sunsets were amazing



i loved these old wagons





but what i loved most was this pink hedge




and these pink flowers in the pub garden



and this colour co-ordinate shop

and i will be happy to deliver more paintings there again soon :)

cork oak morning

a cool spot on a morning walk

to ing and fro ing

yesterday i arrived in portugal

it feels be good to be back at obras
among friends
with this view from my terrace



and this familiar rose garden

no painting today but i am thinking about writing

in the evening the shadows on the walls were blue....really really blue
we tried to draw them

then i painted the walls

back home in the forest i have been painting to this

i think i'm in summerland

from one forest to another...

on friday i arrived in portugal... and now i'm in the beautiful alentejo region famous for it’s cork oak forests

i am waiting for my paints to arrive...they were lost somewhere in the north...but apparently have been located and will arrive today....

they said that yesterday as well
